Situated in the center of Kyoto and specificly in the Higashiyama area, very close to Heian shrine and Nanzenji temple.
To reach the house: From JR Kyoto station, take the subway Karasuma Line and change at Karasuma-Oike station and get the Tozai Line. Get off at Higashiyama station and walk for 3 minutes.
With a taxi, it is about 20 minutes ride from Kyoto station.
